Peaches & Cream

“As soon as we started talking about in-season peaches, I immediately thought of this simple and delicious dish -- it’s easy enough for an after-dinner snack, but is rich and decadent enough to be a dessert offering at an outdoor dinner party.” - Shelby J.

Ingredients:

2-3 Fresh Peaches (any variety will do, but NEVER canned)

Approx. 3 Tablespoons heavy cream (Half & Half will also work, if you prefer)

Ground cinnamon or nutmeg

Optional: Your choice of berries

Directions:

  1. Slice peaches. Some people prefer to leave the skins on, while others prefer them off -- remove them when slicing if preferred.
  2. Place peaches in a bowl, and pour heavy cream over them. You don’t want to drown the peaches, but do make sure the cream is spread around the bowl.
  3. Add a touch of nutmeg or cinnamon to the top and enjoy! Add a few berries for a more complex flavor if desired.
